The Congressional Medal Honor

President Johnson presidented me with the Congressional Medal of Honor for saving my squad and Lt. Dan in Vietnam. I received the medal in Washington DC after 2 years in Vietnam and 6 months recovering in a military hospital from a gun shot wound in my buttocks.

Football

I was really good at football, mostly because I was so fast. I got a football scholarship in Alabama College and played for the three years that I was there. We won the intervarsity football league three years in a row and from those seasons I scored 242 points.

Ping Pong

I learned how to play ping pong when I was in the army hospital. I got so good at it that the other wounded soldiers would come watch me play ping pong all day. The army officers signed me up to the ping pong army team and I traveled all across the world playing.
