Maria Coyle was born on 8th May 1990 and lives at Knockbrack, Oldcastle, Co Meath with her parents, Mary and PJ, her sister, Sinead and her brother Kevin. The area in which she lives www.allfamilycrests.com in is renowned for its picturesque countryside which includes the well-known historical site "Loughcrew Cairns.
She started primary school at the age of four in Gilson National School and in 2008, she graduated from Eureka Secondary School, Kells, Co Meath where she had been a student for 5 years. She is currently pursuing a BA degree in Communications, at Dublin City University
Maria has a keen interest in travel and her ‘Leaving Certificate Holiday’ in Spain in 2008 was one of the highlights of the year. She also enjoys swimming, reading, listening to music, and writing poetry.
In 2007, Maria took the prizes for Senior and Overall Winner, in the 3rd Annual Schools Against Racism Poetry Competition organised by "Poetry Ireland" and "NCCRI" with her poem "Help!".
